AI agents for HubSpot

FrugalPod agents work inside HubSpot to score new leads, keep contact and deal records clean, and draft follow-ups and marketing emails in your voice. They connect read-only by default. Any change to a record, and anything that would reach a customer, waits for your approval, so HubSpot stays the source of truth you trust.

How access to HubSpot works

When you connect HubSpot, FrugalPod asks for the narrowest permissions each agent needs, and the connection starts read-only. You decide, agent by agent, whether it may write to HubSpot at all. Even then, record changes wait for approval in the FrugalPod app or in Slack until you choose to let a routine category go through on its own. You can revoke the connection at any time. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it is never used to train FrugalPod’s models or its AI providers’ models. The FrugalPod security page sets out how access, approvals and the activity log work.

Getting started with HubSpot

  1. Create a free FrugalPod account. It starts with 100 free credits and no card is needed.
  2. Connect HubSpot and choose which pods may use it. The connection is read-only to begin with.
  3. Tell the sales pod what a good lead looks like and which fields every record must have.
  4. Review the first batch of suggestions: lead scores, duplicate merges and drafted follow-ups.
  5. Approve what is right, correct what isn’t, and decide later which routine changes may go through without asking.

Why use FrugalPod agents with HubSpot?

HubSpot holds your contacts, deals and campaigns, but someone still has to keep the records tidy and write the follow-ups. FrugalPod’s sales pod and marketing pod do that desk work inside HubSpot, so your team works from accurate records without a RevOps hire. You pay for the work agents do, not per seat, so everyone who uses HubSpot can review and approve work on any plan. For the habits that keep a CRM trustworthy, see how to keep your CRM clean.

Common questions

Something missing? Write to admin@frugalpod.com and a person will reply.

Will FrugalPod change my HubSpot records without asking?

No. The connection is read-only by default. If you allow an agent to write to HubSpot, each change still waits for your approval in the FrugalPod app or in Slack, unless you later decide that a routine kind of change may go through on its own.

Can the agents send emails from HubSpot?

They draft follow-ups and campaign emails, and nothing sends until you approve it. Outreach honours opt-outs, quiet hours and consent rules such as CAN-SPAM, and anything that looks risky is flagged before it goes out.

Which agents use HubSpot?

The sales pod’s Lead qualifier, CRM keeper and Follow-up writer work with contacts and deals, and the marketing pod’s Copywriter and Channel manager work on campaign emails. You choose which pods may use the connection, so a pod you haven’t allowed never touches HubSpot.

Do I need a particular HubSpot plan?

This depends on what your HubSpot account allows connected apps to read and write. Connect it on the Free plan and you will see which tasks agents can take on with your account before you spend anything beyond your 100 free credits.

What does it cost?

FrugalPod charges by the work agents do, in credits where 1 credit is 1 cent. You can start free with 100 credits, pay as you go at $1 per 100 credits, or choose Starter at $19 a month or Pro at $49 a month. Every plan includes every integration.
