Security at FrugalPod
FrugalPod is designed so agents can do useful work without ever acting beyond what you allow. Your data is encrypted, access is scoped to the minimum, every action is logged, and nothing your agents do is used to train AI models.
- Encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+ and at rest with AES-256, including backups.
- Tools connect read-only by default, with the narrowest permissions. Revoke access at any time.
- Nothing sends, spends, publishes or changes a record without approval.
- Your data never trains our models or our providers’.
- Export everything at any time. Deletion completes within 30 days, backups included.
Data protection

Access and permissions
When you connect a tool, FrugalPod requests the narrowest permissions an agent needs, and connections are read-only by default. You decide, per agent, whether it may change anything. You can revoke a connection at any time.
People stay in control
- Approval by default. Emails, messages, payments, posts and record changes wait for approval in the app or in Slack.
- Hard budget caps. Each pod has a spending cap that agents cannot exceed.
- Full activity log. Every agent action is recorded with what happened, when and why, so reviews and audits start with the evidence ready.
How AI models use your data
Your data is never used to train FrugalPod’s models or our AI providers’ models. Our AI providers do not keep your data after a request is completed.
Retention and deletion
You can export your data at any time. When you ask us to delete it, deletion completes within 30 days, including backups.
Responsible outreach
Outreach features honour opt-outs, quiet hours and consent requirements such as CAN-SPAM and TCPA. SMS and WhatsApp messages only go to people who have opted in. Anything that looks risky is flagged before it sends.
Report a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, email admin@frugalpod.com with the details and steps to reproduce. Please give us reasonable time to investigate and fix the issue before sharing it publicly, and avoid accessing other customers’ data or degrading the service while testing. We will acknowledge your report and keep you updated. Our security.txt file lists the same contact.
