AI for LinkedIn posts for small business

FrugalPod’s marketing pod helps small businesses keep a LinkedIn company page active: the Researcher finds what your buyers care about, the Copywriter drafts posts in your voice, and the Channel manager plans when they go out. By default, nothing is published to LinkedIn until you approve it, so the page stays yours.

In short
  • The FrugalPod marketing pod works with LinkedIn through three agents: Researcher, Copywriter and Channel manager.
  • Agents draft company page posts in your voice and plan a posting calendar alongside your other channels.
  • The connection is read-only by default; you decide whether any agent may change anything.
  • By default, every post waits for your approval in the app or in Slack before it is published.
  • Every action is logged, so you can see what was drafted, approved and posted.

Pods that work in LinkedIn: marketing.

How access to LinkedIn works

When you connect LinkedIn, FrugalPod asks for the narrowest permissions each agent needs, and the connection starts read-only. You decide, agent by agent, whether it may change anything. Even then, posts and other changes wait for approval in the FrugalPod app or in Slack until you choose to let a routine category go out on its own. You can revoke the connection at any time. Every agent action is recorded in the activity log with what happened, when and why. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is not used to train FrugalPod’s models or its AI providers’ models. The FrugalPod security page explains approvals in more detail.

Getting started with LinkedIn

  1. Create a free FrugalPod account. It starts with 100 free credits and no card is needed.
  2. Connect LinkedIn and switch on the marketing pod. The connection is read-only to begin with.
  3. Describe your tone, the topics you want to be known for and anything you never post about, and share a few posts you were proud of.
  4. Ask for one week of posts for your company page and review the drafts and the proposed calendar.
  5. Edit what needs editing, approve what is right, and decide later whether any routine posts may go out without asking.

How does FrugalPod help with LinkedIn posts?

A LinkedIn company page does its job when it posts steadily, and that is the part that slips when you are busy. FrugalPod’s marketing pod takes the desk work. The Researcher looks at reviews, competitors and search data to find what your buyers care about, the Copywriter drafts posts in your voice, and the Channel manager keeps the calendar and never spends past your cap. You approve each post, and you can see every step in the activity log. LinkedIn’s own AI writing features are worth trying too. The difference here is that one pod plans for LinkedIn and your other channels together.

Common questions

Something missing? Write to admin@frugalpod.com and a person will reply.

Will FrugalPod post to my LinkedIn page without asking?

No, not by default. Posts wait for your approval in the FrugalPod app or in Slack. The connection is read-only to begin with, and you can later choose to let routine posts go out on their own if that suits how you work.

Does it write posts for my personal profile or my company page?

This page is about your company page. Posts for a personal profile are a different question, because they speak in one person’s voice. A person should write or at least edit those themselves. If you want help there, a custom agent can be set up with your rules.

Can it reply to comments and messages on LinkedIn?

Replying to comments and messages is not one of the marketing pod’s listed jobs. You can describe that job in plain words and build a custom agent for it, set the rules, and test it on last month’s work before it goes live.

How do I keep posts from sounding generic?

Give the Copywriter real material: your tone, a few past posts you liked and the specific projects, offers and opinions you want to share. Then edit the drafts before approving them. Generic input tends to produce generic posts, and you stay in control of the final wording.

What does it cost to try?

The Free plan has no monthly fee and includes 100 free credits, with no card needed. After that you can buy credits at $1 per 100, or choose Starter at $19 a month or Pro at $49 a month. All plans include every integration. See pricing.
